Announcement of the second Workshop

   The 2nd workshop of "Probabilistic seismic hazard assessment issues in the island arc of Japan and Taiwan" will be held on 17-21 June 2013 in Sendai Japan, where severer tsunami damages occurred during the 2011 M 9.0 Tohoku earthquake. Three-day meeting including common presentations with multilateral discussions and two-day field trip in the areas of the 2011 Tohoku earthquake will be arranged. We are very pleased to have a special lecture from outstanding Professor Kojiro Irikura, who was ex-president both of the Seismological Society of Japan and Japan Association for Earthquake Engineering.
